Babetida Sadjo

Babetida Sadjo is a Guinean-Bissau Belgian actress. After graduating from the Royal dramatic conservatory of Brussels, she was the first black woman to win the Ansor of best actress in a supporting role for the film Waste Land directed by Pieter Van Hees. She makes a great performance in the film Paradise Suite which was selected to represent the Nederlands for the Oscars. Her international career was launched as she played one of two leading characters in the Sundance award winning film, And Breathe Normally directed by Isold Uggadottir. Also a screenwriter, Babetida Sadjo will soon be directing "Hématomes" a short film that she wrote. Not disregarding her first love, the stage, Babetida Sadjo continues to perform in various plays alongside her cinematographic projects.
