Ciaran Donnelly
CIARAN DONNELLY is an Irish director, producer and writer. He is a BAFTA and multiple IFTA winner. Ciaran is an executive producer and co-creator of AMC+ series 'KIN', now shooting season 2. Recently Ciaran directed VIKINGS VALHALLA (Netflix), the epic WHEEL OF TIME finale, Amazon Prime's most streamed series ever. He served as SHOWRUNNER/DIRECTOR on Titanic Blood and Steel, the EP/DIRECTOR on Discovery's Harley and the Davidsons and NBC's AD and Crossbones. He has also directed the sci fi epic ALTERED CARBON (Netflix/Skydance), the pilot of David Goyer's Krypton (SyFy/Warner/DC). Multiple episodes of Vikings for History/MGM, The Tudors for Showtime. Other US work includes Tyrant and Once Upon a Time. And in the UK, Robin Hood, Proof (including the pilot), Spooks and Cold Feet.

"A.D. The immediate aftermath of Christ's death had a massive impact on his disciples, his mother, Mary, and key political and religious leaders of the era, completely altering the entire world in an instant. Beginning at that fateful moment of the Crucifixion and the Resurrection, "A.D. The Bible Continues" will focus on the disciples who had to go forward and spread the teachings of Christ to a world dominated by political unrest, and the start of a whole new religion that would dramatically reshape the history of the world.
