Nassim Lyes
Born June 3, 1988 in Nîmes, France, Nassim Lyes is a French actor of Algerian heritage who can most recently be seen starring in the action-comedy En Passant Pécho (2021) from his original screenplay for Netflix and in The Last Mercenary (2021) with Jean-Claude Van Damme. Nassim also recently starred alongside Sasha Baron Cohen in Gideon Raff's mini-series The Spy (2019) for Netflix.
He will next be seen in Sarah Adina Smith's upcoming English-language drama for Amazon, Birds of Paradise (2021), and in M6's mini-series Ils Étaient Dix (2021), based on Agatha Christie's novel. He also stars in acclaimed French director Philippe Lioret's Les Autres (2021), a modern urbanized Romeo and Juliette.
In France, Nassim came onto the scene with his lead role in the crime-drama Blind Valley (2011) alongside Jean-Hugues Anglade and Gilles Lellouche. Other credits include recurring roles in Netflix's first French language original, Marseille (2016), and Canal+'s live-action adaptation of the hit comedy Les Lascars (2012-2014).
Outside of film, Nassim has an extensive background in MMA/fighting and won the 2009 French national kick-boxing championship, in the welterweight division.
