Taryn O'Neill

Taryn was born in Vancouver, Canada where she was a competitive figure skater and national medalist in Ice Dancing. She graduated from Duke University with a degree in Economics, Theater and Film. She is now a professional actress/ writer / web series producer and science advocate. She co-founded the group Scirens, a science advocacy and creative team focused on inspiring science literacy in the general public through entertainment. They are developing unscripted and scripted TV projects and use social media to share STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Math) news. As an actress she played 'June Sanders' for 3 seasons on BYUTV/ Netflix's Granite Flats and has been nominated for her work on the digital series After Judgement (which she co-produced) and Compulsions. She recently wrapped the co-lead on the Black Pills comedy series Moooom. As a writer, she has written for Black Box TV, Stan Lee (an unproduced sci-fi action series) and has been a finalist in both NYTV Fest and Sloan Foundation / Sundance fellowship competitions.
