Kasra Shokravi

Kasra Shokravi was born in Bandar Abbas, Iran. In 1990, he and his family decided to move to America. Growing up in America, Kasra found himself surrounded by two things: his Persian culture rich with color and design, and photography. However, he true passion laid in dinosaurs. This lead him to a screening of Spielberg's Jurassic Park. Soon enough he found himself at the movies time and time again. Movies eventually turned into a passion and he decided to pursue filmmaking in college, opting to specify in cinematography, following in line with his cultures rich colors and growing up around cameras. H He holds a B.A. in Film Production from San Francisco State University and an M.F.A. in Cinematography from Chapman University and works in the film industry in Los Angeles.
