Suanne Braun

South African born Suanne started her career working on South African television and starring in multiple series and theatre productions. Additionally, Suanne worked as a host on the first, independent television channel in South Africa, MNET television. She hosted a travel series "Bon Voyage" which afforded her the opportunity of visiting over 36 countries and saw her winning her first award for excellence in television. Numerous TV specials followed including presenting the Miss World Pageant twice in 1992 and 1994. Due to the enormous amount of exposure she received, Suanne became a household name appearing in and on the cover of more than 25 publications. After a visit to the USA, Suanne was signed by WME and remained in Los Angeles for the next 10 years. US highlights include working with Oscar-winning director Peter Bodanovich, playing goddess Hathor in Stargate SG1, Just Shoot Me and hosting an event for NBC called The West Wing CIty Live. Suanne moved to London in 2002 and continues to work in film, television and theatre. West end credits include Mamma Mia, Cabaret, Onassis and The Cherry Orchard. Recent film work includes Summer Of Rockets (BBC) and The Princess Switch Switched Again, the sequel to the hugely popular The Princess Switch (Netflix). Suanne's debut comedy show, won the Funny Bones Award in 2017.
