Jacobi Howard
A native of Charlotte, NC, Jacobi Howard is an up and coming talent in the film industry. His versatility, presence, and natural delivery when it comes to his portrayal of characters is truly remarkable. He is a graduate of the North Carolina School of the arts(2011) training within the same four years as Dane Dehaan and Jonathan Majors. He is from a middle class family, his father(Frederick) a crane operator, and his mother(Catherine), is a retired aftercare teacher. Jacobi is the eldest of two. However, he very tragically lost his younger brother Devin Howard in 2005.
Jacobi has a true passion for plays, film, and television. He is also a playwright. In his Post grad years he traveled the east coast performing in many theatrical productions in such notable venues as The Public(NY), Arena Stage(DC), The Blumenthal PAC(CLT, NC) and American Stage(St. Pete FL).
After a few years of travel, Jacobi channeled his love for the arts into education; teaching drama as well as creative writing before landing his first principal role as the lumbering, Dead-eyed, henchman "Angel" in "The Harder They Fall(2021)" directed by Jeymes Samuel.
