Takehiro Hira

Takehiro started his career in theatre. He has been in numerous plays including "Hamlet" directed by Yukiko Ninagawa, which starred Michael Maloney, Peter Eagan and Daniel Rigby. However, his international career has started when he played Kazu in "Lost Girls and Love Hotels" in 2018. He plays the leading role of Kenzo in a BBC/Netflix 8-episode drama "Giri/ Haji" which will be aired in 2019. He was educated in the U.S from high school to college. He has a bachelor's degree from Brown University. He is fluent in English and Japanese.
