Pedro Hossi
Pedro Hossi was born in Luanda Angola. He moved to Portugal when he was 2 and lived there into his late teens. At 22 he moved to New york to study at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute. After New york he goes to Paris to study/work with famed acting teacher Jack Waltzer. He then goes back to the US and gets his first lead in an independent film called "Borderline". The film was shot between Mexico and Los Angeles. After that he gets one of the leads in the film "The great Kilapy" opposite Brazilian star Lazaro Ramos. The film had its world premiere in the Toronto film festival. Several major TV and film roles followed in his home country of Angola and Portugal. Pedro's latest film "Sergio", a Netflix production, will have its world premiere at the sundace film festival in early 2020. In the film Pedro plays the role of General Xanana Gusmão, the iconic leader of East Timor, opposite Wagner Moura and Ana de Armas, amongst others.
