Olivia Lagunas
Actress and dancer graduated from the Literatura Dramática College and UNAM's Theater. Ballet, a Singing Student, also learned to play the Accordion.
She has performed under the direction of prominent figures of the Mexican scene as: Hugo Arrevillaga, Mauricio Garcia Lozano, Carlos Corona, José Caballero, Alberto Lomnitz, Martin Acosta, Boris Schoemann, among others. She has been an actress member of: Compañía Nacional de Teatro, Carro de Comedias de la UNAM, Compañía SEÑA Y VERBO and Compañía LOS ENDEBLES.
In 2009 she was a FONCA's beneficiary of the SCENIC CREATORS category A scholarship, in the period.
During 2019, she participated in different Theater projects together with Enrique Arreola under the direction of Boris Schoemann, like "La Divina Ilusión" and "Cosas Raras" by Hugo Arrevillaga.
In Cinema, she co-starred in the Feature Film "Un Mundo Secreto" by Gabriel Mariño, which was an official selection of the Berlinale Film Festival and the Guadalajara International Festival in 2012.
Nowadays, we can see her performing at "La Casa de las Flowers 3" on Netflix. She will soon premiere "Noche de Fuego" the new film directed by Tatiana Huezo where she participates with the character of "Zulma". And in the new film by Alonso Ruiz Palacios.
