Aurora Dawson-Hunte

Aurora Dawson-Hunte is a British actress who grew up in central London in the UK. Focusing on academia for most of her childhood, Aurora took the spontaneous decision to follow her heart and apply for the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in 2015. She was accepted on her first year of auditioning, a feat almost unheard of in the London drama school circuit. Aurora first came to public attention when she was cast as the female star of October Faction (2020) in the summer of 2018 as soon as she graduated from RADA. Aurora's credits include Sex Education (2019), There She Goes (2020), The Stranger (2020) and Morning Song (2020). She also does voice-overs and has worked on Doctor Who (BBC), Masterful (Big Finish), River Song 7.2 Abbey of Heretics (Big Finish), Mistfall (Star Stable), LOTE (Audible) and The Panopticon Sound Project. Aurora first discovered her love for the performing arts aged just three, when she waved to her mother throughout her tap-dance show because she was so excited to be on stage. She is passionate about theatre, especially classical theatre, and was tipped to be a big theatre star on the West End in London, but surprised everyone by mainly working on screen. When not in front of the camera, Aurora enjoys listening to audio books, reading memoirs, writing screenplays, visiting galleries, adapting and translating plays, and travelling. She also loves languages and culture, and has already lived in 5 countries across 3 continents.
