Jared Kemp
Jared Michael Kemp was born April 1, 1994 in New York City to the late Bahamian singer Johnny Kemp and Deirdre Fisher-Kemp. Jared began to develop an interest in acting while attending Wagner Junior Middle School when he was introduced to Shakespeare by his English teacher Gail Badillo and performed in the Shakespeare Festival at the National Arts Club. He went on to study drama at Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music and Art and Performing Arts. During the Senior Showcase he was chosen to play one of the leads in Max Friedlich's play Sleepover, which was featured in the 2012 NYC Fringe Festival. Jared made his acting debut in High Maintenance the web series turned HBO series, and his feature film acting debut in The Purge Election Year (Rondo). Jared has gone on to star on Luke Cage, Bull, Blue Bloods, and SXSW award winning First Match. Jared has an older brother Jason Kemp who is a writer/ fashion designer.
