Anna Maria Sieklucka
Anna-Maria Sieklucka (pronounced Sie-kloo-tska) is a Polish actress, singer, and dancer who made her feature film debut in the multi-lingual Netflix drama 365 Days, based on the novel trilogy written by Blanka Lipinska. The plot follows a spirited young woman, "Laura (played by Sieklucka)," who is kidnapped by a Sicilian mobster that imposes a period of 365 days for her to fall in love with him. The film also stars Michele Morrone and was directed by Barbara Dialowas and Tomasz Mandes.
Sieklucka has an extensive background in theatre. Upcoming, she will play the role of "Death" in Margules. Ausencia, a biographical play about Ludwik Margules, a renowned Polish-born Mexican theatre, opera and film director. Lukasz Witt- Michatowski is directing and the play will have its premiere this Fall in Lublin at the Cultural Center.
Previously, Sieklucka also toured in Salzburg at the Sommerszene Festival and in Madrid at the Teatros Canal in Marta Gornicka/The Chorus of Women: Magnificat. Last year, she was asked with only two days notice to step in as a lead role in the play Valentine's Day, at the Norwid Theatre in Jelenia Góra. Her performance was simply flawless and garnered a standing ovation.
Anna-Maria is also set to reprise her role in the sequel to 365 Days.
