Oscar Foronda
Oscar Foronda was born on September 13, 1970 in Barcelona, Spain. During summer camps as a child, young Foronda found fascination and desire to perform in first theatre plays. In 2002, his love of the theatre took him to the Barbican Theater, London, where he performed the Shakespearean theatre play Macbeth, directed by Calixto Bieito. In the early 90ties, Foronda started acting in commercials and amateur theatre, and he continued performing in different episodes of well known Spanish TV series. So far, as an actor, Foronda has appeared in over 50 films and TV series. International productions include Any Human Heart (2010), where Foronda played the role of Faustino Angel alongside Matthew Macfadyen. In the Swedish C-More TV series Gåsmamman (2015), Foronda plays the cunning and implacable Columbian drug dealer "El Largo". Furthermore, Foronda played a significant historical character in The Crown (2016) Netflix TV series in Season 4. His role is Constantino Davidoff, deemed by some as responsible for starting the Falklands War. In Riviera (2017) (Sky AtlanticTV), Foronda can be seen as an Argentinian businessman, Señor Alvarez. In the BBC 1 TV series The Mallorca Files (2019) Season 2, Foronda is credited for Sebastiá, a Mallorcan Sous Chef.
