Karla Cossío
Karla Alexandra Cossío, a Mexican actress, was born on June 22, 1985, in Havana, Cuba. In Mexico City, she attended elementary school in "Colegio Ciudad de Mexico" and high school at The Edron Academy, which is a British prep school. Karla began taking acting classes from a very young age. She was enrolled at the "Centro de Educacion Artistica Infantil" at the age of 9 and later on studied her acting career at the "Centro de Educacion Artistica (CEA)" in Televisa. She also took individual acting workshops with Flora Dantus, a master of theater in Mexico. In theater, she participated in "Perras" for two years, a play written and directed by author Guillermo Ríos, and in "Habitar bajo vidrio", directed by Marco Vieyra, for another two years. She speaks 3 languages fluently: Spanish, English, and French. Karla has been invited to participate in many Latin TV shows, such as: "Vidatv", "Otro Rollo", "La Guerra de los Sexos"(Venezuela), "Agua Viva", and "Sabado Gigante" (Miami). Furthermore, she appeared in two Mexican movies: "Cien Años de Cine Mexicano", a short directed by Carlos Carrera and "Redencion", by Juan Pablo Cortez. She has participated in music videos as well, with: Latin singer, Emmanuel; Mana; and Ashley McKizar. Karla has appeared in more than 150 commercials.
