Michael Emery
With over 70 professional acting credits, award-winning actor Michael Emery trained at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. For nearly twenty years, Michael has worked steadily in film and television projects, including appearances on Monk, Shameless, Body of Proof opposite Dana Delany, and Blue Bloods portraying "Phil Daelman", a thief who terrorizes a Latino family. He has also appeared in several popular soap operas such as Guiding Light, Days of Our Lives, One Life to Live, and As the World Turns as "Andy".
Michael has appeared in several full-length feature films. He appeared alongside Frances Fisher and Steve Howie in the indie feature Love on the Run directed by Ash Christian. He showed his acting range in the award-winning film Randy's Canvas in the role of Henry, the older brother of Randy, a young autistic artist. Michael's next performance was as a town drifter in the action/horror genre film Bone Tomahawk starring Kurt Russell, Richard Jenkins, David Arquette, and Patrick Wilson. It was his role in this film that garnered him noted attention as an accomplished actor.
Michael had a notable recurring role on Season 2 of the CrackleTV series, StartUp, which starred Martin Freeman, Adam Brody, and Ron Perlman. Next, starred alongside actress (and frequent collaborator) Scout Taylor-Compton (Halloween 1 & 2) in the 2019 thriller film, The Lurker.
Michael co-starred with acting great William Sadler in the feature film The Historian, followed by a guest-star role on the hit television series Shameless where he played the role of 'Bruce', the boyfriend of Harry Hamlin's character "Ned". Next, he was cast a recurring role on Season 3 of the Amazon series, Sneaky Pete.
Michael portrayed Reverend Henning in the true story drama, American Wisper. For this role, Michael won the Golden State Film Festival Award for Best Supporting Actor, as well as the Royal Wolf Film Award for Best Supporting Actor.
Most recently, Michael played the role of Jason Johnson in the Lionsgate horror film Room 9 written and directed by Thomas Walton. He next appeared as "Travis" in a leading role with actor Kevin Spacey in the psychological thriller film Peter Five Eight. Michael worked as a top of show Guest Star on the hit ABC Primetime series, Station 19 where played the role of Greg, an abusive husband with rageful intentions. His most recent appearance was in a significant role in the 2021 feature film, An Intrusion.
Michael Guest starred on the CBS top-rated series, The Equalizer as the villain, Xavier Mannis. Michael was also the lead character in the Nate Dushku thriller, Birder as Kristian Brooks. Birder was written by Ami Lourie.
