Austin Nichols
Austin Nichols was raised in Austin, Texas until the age of eighteen, when he moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting. He graduated from the University of Southern California in 2002 with a degree in creative writing. His role in Six Feet Under led to films like The Day After Tomorrow, Wimbledon, and Glory Road. Then after playing Morgan Earp on Deadwood, David Milch asked Austin to play the title role in his new series, John From Cincinnati. Nichols has been on a string of hit cable shows. Ray Donovan, Bates Motel and The Walking Dead.

A "contemporary prequel" to the 1960 film Psycho, depicting the life of Norman Bates and his mother Norma prior to the events portrayed in Hitchcock's film, albeit in a different fictional town and in a modern setting.
