Joth Riggs

Joth Riggs is an award-winning filmmaker whose film career spans more than 27 years and includes over 80 movies and television shows for all the major Hollywood studios. After graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Joth got his start on the set of Pet Sematary II (1992). From there he went on to work as a production assistant on the sitcom Coach (1994) on the Universal lot before ultimately landing at Steven Spielberg's Amblin Entertainment. It was only after being accepted into the prestigious Director's Guild Training Program that Joth left Amblin to become an Assistant Director. After years of A.D.ing on everything from feature films like Starship Troopers (1997), End of Days (1999), and Suicide Kings (1997) with Christopher Walken to t.v. series such as CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (2000), Party of Five (1994), Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman (1993), and Baywatch (1989) among others, Joth made the move to the director's chair with several award-winning short films including Push (2011), Shaken (2012), and Heartfall (2013), as well as the television series The Encounter (2016). Joth is currently in post-production on the suspense/thriller feature he's directing, Blindsided (2021), starring Natasha Henstridge, due out later this year.
