Chris Fisher

Chris Fisher is a theatre-trained actor with over a decade of on-screen experience. His most notable character credits include playing Ben Gunn in 'Black Sails'(2016-17); John Alden in 'Saints & Strangers' (2015); Grant in Blue Crush 2 (2011); Deiphobus in 'Troy: Fall of the City' (2018); Halphas in 'Raised by Wolves' (2020) and most recently Billy Mason in 'Endangered Species' (2021). He has consciously endeavoured to extend his performance repertoire far and wide after completing a BA in Drama at Rhodes University - specializing in Performance and Applied Theatre (using theatre for educational purposes). He has played in the realms of TV and Film, Theatre, Street Performance, Dubbing, Voice work and Improvised Theatre since returning to Cape Town in 2010, and has been working consistently since then. He is particularly passionate about character driven story telling, which uses one's entire body and voice to create playful narratives that entertains and educates in a meaningful and thought-provoking way. He is generally excited about life's endless lessons and loves the work/play dynamic in which he finds himself every day. Chris is an adventure seeking environmentalist at heart, and plans on amalgamating his passions by manifesting roles in stories that inspire a movement towards a lifestyle more in line with the beauty of Nature's cyclical design.
