Jennifer Field

A San Francisco Bay Area native, Jennifer graduated from Santa Clara University with a B.A. in Theatre Arts. Her Korean mother is a homemaker, and her English-Irish-German father, an attorney. Her love of performing began with piano and dance lessons at age 6. By the time she was in third grade, she was writing, producing, directing, and acting in her own plays, rehearsing during recesses, and convincing teachers to allow her and her classmates to perform these "skits" in front of the class during academic hours. Jennifer was active in local children's theatre and community theatre, and as a teen began training in classical voice. It was in high school that Jennifer fell in love with independent cinema, Gummo and Kids being major influences on her. While in college, she earned an acting internship at Marin Shakespeare Company, a regional Equity theatre. Jennifer also competed in pageants, and holds the title of Miss Asian America 2006-2007, and won Miss Talent 2006-2007 with her operatic vocal performance of Mozart's "Vedrai, carino" from Don Giovanni. For leisure, Jennifer enjoys reading, snowboarding, and spending time with friends and family. An avid hiker, Jennifer annually vacations to one of the nation's beautiful National Parks--her most beloved park of all is Yellowstone. She has visited nearly every national park in the western United States.
