Savira Windyani

Indonesian born and Malaysian raised, Savira Windyani is a classically trained actress based in Los Angeles, professionally known for her principal role as 'Lexx' in her feature film debut, 'Unfriended: Dark Web'(2018) by BH Tilt and Bazelev Productions. Long before acting came into her life, Savira was part of a choir at her school in Malaysia, Cempaka International School, and performed in various performances for the Prime Minister of Malaysia, UN conventions, the Royal Family of Malaysia and several charities. At the age of 10, these performances led to her first professional theater production at Broadway Asia playing one of the King's princesses in 'The King and I'. Ever since then, she's acted and performed in various musical theater productions at school where her passion for acting developed. Straight after graduation, at the age of 17, she took a leap of faith and moved to Los Angeles on her own to attend the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, where she received her classical training for 2 years on a partial scholarship. After performing her graduation play, 'Amazing Grace' by Michael Cristofer, playing the role of 'Vivian', Savira was immediately scouted by theatrical representation who led her to landing a principal role in her feature film debut, 'Unfriended: Dark Web' that had a worldwide theatrical release in 2018. Aside from acting, Savira is an avid martial artist, studying Japanese Ju Jitsu under Vince Cecere. Diving into the world of action, her and her partner, Michael S. Garcia, wrote and choreographed an action short film that gained recognition in several film festivals including the Mammoth Film Festival, and the Artemis Women In Action Film Festival where they won for 'Best Fight Choreography' in 2020. Over the short course of her career, she's appeared on several other award winning short films, TV Movies, commercials, and won the Leah-Daniels Butler Monologue Challenge over the beginning of the pandemic. Next, she'll be seen in the Netflix limited series with Lana Condor called 'Boo, Bitch.'
