Tejas Shah
Tejas Shah is a first generation East Indian American actor, writer, and director born to immigrants who came to the US in the late 70's. Tejas was born in Queens, the north central part of New York City. He is the eldest child, born into a family of hard-working professionals. Father being a medical doctor and mother a dentist. He was educated at St. Joseph's Elementary School and Diamond Ranch High School in Pomona, California before attending the University of California, Irvine. Tejas's interest in acting was recognized at an early age by family members and friends from bursts of spontaneous singing and quirky voices. His good friend suggested, if he was serious about acting, he needed to get in shape and learn the craft. It was at the age of twenty three when Tejas was cast in his first role were he played the role of Dante in "Heart to Heart" (2007). He went on to star in the indie films such as, "Truly Blessed" (2009), "Perfect Combination" (2010), "Pete Smalls is Dead" (2010), "An Unforgettable Night" (2011), "The Coalition" (2012), "Cold Comes the Night" (2013), "Welcome to New York" (2014), "The Land" (2016), and "Loose Ends" (2017). He is currently in the stages of pre-production for an independent feature based on the bittersweet story of his parents immigration from India to the United States. Tejas also has a dramatic series in development, based on hate crimes within the United States, for digital release.
Movies
After the tragic loss of his wife battling the forces of darkness, Gabriel is persuaded to rejoin his former team of demon hunters traveling from relatively obscurity in America to the deep unknown regions of Europe. He is joined by his estranged best friend Michael who harbors a dark secret, the mystical Hannah whose visions predict the future, and a motley crew of demon slayers. After losing part of his team Gabriel must confront his tragic past and decide who really is friend or foe.
