Shelby Bain has become known in over 120 countries around the world for her performance as "Amy" in the 7-time award-winning and 14 time nominated series 'The Next Step' (The Family Channel - Canada) (Universal Kids - United States) (CBBC Kids - United Kingdom) Her character arrived at The Next Step studio in season four and has remained a permanent member of the troupe for four seasons and has done almost 100 episodes! Shelby has completed many promotions with Family Channel across Canada including Family Channel's Big Ticket Concert and in the UK with CBBC! She has performed in live concerts around the world including cities across Australia, New Zealand, and throughout the United Kingdom, and recently returned home from her fourth tour. Shelby can be seen as Sarah Pinkerton in the Lifetime Network movie Believe Me. You can also spot Shelby in Tammy's Always Dying, a dark comedy drama film, a Jessica Adams Production. Shelby was first introduced to the dance stage at the age of five and by the time she was six, she was dancing competitively. Soon after that, Shelby kicked off her professional career appearing in the American Girl Movie, Isabelle Dances Into the Spotlight as well as the TV series Basckstage for Family Channel and Netflix. When Shelby is not in front of the camera, she can be found teaching and coaching at LB Acting Studios.
