Trish Cook
Born and raised in a small town in the Midwest, (Mt. Healthy, Ohio-near Cincinnati), Trish Cook was a performer at age eight, on local TV talent shows, and competed nationally for baton twirling. Later, she was a high school cheerleader and cast in several plays.
She graduated from Eastern New Mexico University (with nearly a perfect GPA 3.97) in Marketing, Finance and Theatre. She then relocated to New Jersey to attend Princeton MBA program, and to study in Manhattan @ The Stella Adler Conservatory.
While studying, Trish worked as a Shoe and Leg Model for Salvatore Ferragamo on Fifth Avenue. She also worked on Madison Ave in Advertising, and became Fashion Coordinator for Dior. In addition, worked for a time in Interior Design, and won National Design Award, presented to her @ The Waldorf-Astoria in Manhattan.
Trish was cast on the last episode of Ryan's Hope, then cast on One Life to Live, Another World, Guiding Light, As The World Turns and All My Children. In her first feature, 'The Messenger', she was cast in major role, the film won awards in Cannes, and premiered in NYC. She was also cast in Off Broadway in play 'Criminals'.
In addition, she was cast in Miller Light Commercial, Bacardi Rum commercial, and was Spokesperson for Clinique parody, as the 'Ageless Sales Lady', and even performed in Macy's Thanksgiving Parade as a tap dancer.
While in NY, she became Production Partner on several independent film projects.
Trish then relocated to Los Angeles. After completing lead role in feature 'And Call Me in the MOrning', she joined production company, Magnet Media Group (MMG), as Director of Operations. She continued to be cast on projects, lead in Fox Pilot 'Post Mortem', and other films, while working for MMG. She was an integral part of the production of '13' starring Jason Statham, Mickey Rourke, Sam Riley, Ray Winston, Michael Shannon and 50 Cent; also the Sony Pictures thriller 'The Experiment', directed by Paul Scheuring (writer, producer of 'Prison Break'), starring Academy Award winners, Adrien Brody and Forrest Whitaker. She was Associate Producer on thriller 'Dark Tide, starring Halle Berry, co-production between South Africa and the UK, film directed by 'Blue Crush', and 'Into the Blue' director, John Stockwell.
In the summer of 2011, Trish was Executive Producer of independent feature 'Destinea: Our Island', now in post, and Production Consultant on feature 'Favor', also in post.
On December 23, 2011, she was invited to join Dream Factory Entertainment as Producer. Because she was cast in major role on 'American Girls feature (wrapped on Feb. 3, 2012) she moved into Paramount Lot and the Position for Dream Factory on Feb. 5, 2012.
Trish is a member of WIF (Women in Film), SAG (Screen Actors Guild), AFTRA (American Federation of Television and Radio Artists), and several rescue organizations for abandoned animals.
