Simson Bubbel

Simson Bubbel was born in Berlin, Germany. His stepfather was a 1st AD in the biggest East-German Film Company DEFA. At that point in his life, Simson made that decision to become an actor. As a child he took part in school plays and went to summer school especially for acting courses. Later he spent a lot of time on film sets and gained his first experience as an extra, amongst others, at the side of George Clooney. After being cast in an independent action movie project, he got in touch with the stunt department and there he started investing time learning basic action and stunt skills, as well as weapons handling. More recently he has shot in many different international projects, e.g. in Russia, Ukraine, Germany and Great Britain. Highlights of his career so far are a supporting role in the action comedy "Hot Dog" where he plays at the side of Til Schweiger and in the historical drama "Anton" which he shot with the Oscar nominated director Zaza Urushadze.
