Shyam Prasad is an Indian film actor, popularly known for his works in South movies. He is a part of the Starcast in the upcoming Magnum Opus, "Vettaiyan". He plays a Pivotal role in the upcoming Tamil Feature Film, "Thazh Thiravaa". He played the Second Lead role in Singa Penne (Web Series in ZEE5). He has played Pivotal character roles in Indian 2 as Pavan (Netflix), Rudhran as Suresh (Sun NXT), Vattam as Matthew (HotStar), Hey Sinamika as Raja (Netflix). He has also played supporting character roles in popular movies: Ivan Thanthiran (Zee5), Thiruttu Payale 2 (Zee5), Velaikkaran (HotStar), 96 (Sun NXT), Shivalinga (Zee5). Coimbatore being Shyam Prasad's native, he pursued his B.Tech from VIT University, Vellore. He has been awarded a "Special award" by the Chancellor of VIT University, Mr.G.Vishwanathan to encourage him as an Actor during January-2017- VIT Alumni Association Awards ceremony. He worked as an Assistant Director in the film "Katham Katham" directed by Mr.Babu Thooyavan before taking up acting as his career. Shyam Prasad has handled production for a few films as well.
