Alain Ali Washnevsky
Alain Washnevsky was born in Iran and raised in Vienna, Austria to Iranian born parents. Early in life, his future as a professional communicator across several different mediums was already manifesting. As a child, he used to talk so much people would pay him to shut up. Today it's the opposite, he gets paid to speak. However, the full manifestation of this gift would not come to fruition for Alain until the age of 33.
Alain enjoyed a successful real estate career in Vienna. At 33, and in the prime of his career, he felt empty. What he identifies as his inner spirit pulled him in a different direction, and trusting on that intuition he followed. In 2011 Alain moved to Los Angeles, California gripping the shoulders of his true passion to be a performer, teacher and motivational speaker. 3 short years later Alain was on the stage in the finals of the 2014 World Championship of Public Speaking. That year he was considered one of the top nine speakers worldwide. 7 years after his move to Los Angeles, his performing credits include a lead role in the 2016 Academy Award nominated short film Day One ONE, Homeland (Showtime), Curb Your Enthusiasm 2017 (HBO) , Scandal (ABC) and Aquarius (NBC)., Seal Team (CBS). He will be guest starring on the much anticipated 2018 Revival of ABC's sitcom "Roseanne."
Alain presently enjoys his home in Los Angeles, California. Seven years after moving to Los Angeles to start his life over, his dream to be a performer, teacher, and motivational speaker has blossomed. His experience is a true testament that it is never to late to chase your passion. He is a living example of the adage "follow your dreams" and to the American dream itself.
Alain is a wanderer of the world, is well traveled, and is familiar with many cultures. His childhood in Vienna, the capital of classical music, influenced his love for the art. He found another calling in singing Opera and classical pieces. His uniquely deep baritone voice has also afforded him several credits as a voice over artist. He is fluent in German, Farsi, and conversational in French. He enjoys nurturing relationships, leading a healthy lifestyle, art, creativity, communication, public speaking and talking about spirituality.
