Mary Jo Mauro

Mary Jo Mauro is an actress, writer, and producer of award winning short films. Getting her start in the film industry by being a festival pass coordinator, and writer for the media relations team at the Santa Fe Film Festival, she worked along side such notables as Shirley MacLaine, Jane Fonda, Ali McGraw, and Peter Fonda; as a special guest liaison. She then went on to intern with the production design team on Alejandro González Iñárritu's '21 Grams,' and background roles in, 'Elvis Has Left the Building,' and 'Our Souls at Night.' She played the role of The Dean in 'Zombiesaurus, the Jurassic Dead,' and modeled couture dresses for Mary Mac Designs. She and her production company, 'DreamTellerVideo,' have won short film Audience, Best Script and Best Character Awards in several 24 and 48 Hour Film Festivals.
