Susan Marya Baronoff

Susan Marya Baronoff is a theatre director, screenwriter, and Emmy Award winning writer-producer. Her extensive documentary television work includes Starting Over, a unique series for NBC that observed women as they learned how to change their lives, and HBO's Brave New Voices, which followed six teams of young poets from their local poetry slams to the grand nationals in Washington, DC. She was instrumental in shaping Kelly's Hollywood, Brian Sullivan's moving documentary centered around his sister with Down Syndrome. She has directed many plays, and was a theatre critic in Washington, DC, for several years. While in Washington, Susan taught a course in directing for camera at The American University. She studied theatre (Drama) at Northwestern University.
