Jami Tennille
Jami was born Jami Tennille Cornell in Attleboro, Massachusetts to Cheryl Cornell (Franklin), a teacher, and Allen Fuller Cornell, a photographer. She is of Irish and English ancestry.
Jami's early performing ambition arose in dance recitals and as a student in her school's drama club. She is passionate in her craft and portrays a range of characters from the reclusive and tormented Amish mother in The Lost Within to a loving and down to earth friend in the Academy Award winning film Manchester By The Sea.
In 2015 she made her first venture into the area of screenwriting and directing. Her credits include the award winning Girls Who Fly, the thriller Mosaic and the female driven horror film, The Symbol.
Jami is also the founder of ActorPlaybook, an online platform providing new and aspiring actors with workshops and resources designed to achieve forward motion in their acting careers. She strives to cultivate a community of actors who feel 110% supported in their craft, through dynamic site content and personalized feedback.
