Ocean Nalu James was born on the 31st of January 2008, in Virginia to Renae and Shawn James. She has an older sister Taylor. Before getting into acting, Ocean talked about being on TV since the age of 3. She got her start in 2012, with a non-speaking part for director Christian Faber in "I Got Away". Since then she's done print work and modeling, but her heart is in acting. Her first movie came with M. Knight Shyamalan's The Visit. She played the young Becca. Her second movie came in Ewan McGregor's directing debut of American Pastoral as the young Merry, the daughter to Ewan McGregor and Jennifer Connelly characters.
