Jamie DeWolf

Jamie DeWolf is a celebrated performer, filmmaker, writer, arts educator, circus emcee and live event producer from Oakland, CA. He performed his award winning play at the first ever Hip Hop Theater festival in Moscow, Russia, won "Performance of the Year" by NPR's Snap Judgment, and has been featured on two seasons of HBO Def Poetry Jam, with his work showcased by Upworthy, Vice, CBS, Inside Edition, NY Times, BBC and NBC. He's the host, creator and Artistic Director of The Ruckus and Rumpus Revival which Huffington Post calls "one of the best underground performance art shows in America." The winner of over 47 combined international film festival awards, DeWolf has shot and directed a wide array of projects from documentaries about human rights violations in Kashmir and Navajo Nation, to music videos by the Grammy Award winning Fantastic Negrito, to dark comedy original shorts and national campaigns of social justice issues with Cultural Engagement Lab and the Center for Investigative Reporting.
