Jacqueline "Jackie" Emerson is an actress (The Hunger Games), recording artist, TEDx Speaker, voice-over artist, former ambassador for the China Institute, and the former host/producer of the She's So Boss movement-a multimedia brand that helps girls to discover their own inner boss. She was profiled in OWN's digital series, "Who Am I," and was named as one of Business Insider's "15 Incredible Students Attending Stanford University." In addition, she was recently commissioned to write music and co-write lyrics for a show about a gender-queer princess ("Princess Ten Ten and the Dark Skies"). Jackie is focused on all aspects of filmmaking, both in front of and behind the camera. She has a large slate of movies and television series in various stages of production, all focused on representation. Jackie has also recently released multiple short films that she has directed, starred in, written and composed for. You can see her perform musical improvisation on Friday nights at the UCB Mainstage, and she recently starred in EST/LA's production of "Charlotte Stay Close."
