Somerville Black

Somerville Black is an actor and writer based in Toronto. Somerville recently received "Best Actress" at the University of Windsor's 46th Annual Film Festival for her portrayal of Elenor in 'Kubric'. When she isn't in front of the camera, she's creating magic behind the scenes in the art department. She's pretty hardcore about growing her experience on set and building connections with like-minded creator types. Somerville also has a rather poetic side and loves to write quirky comedy sketches that she produces with her friends. Somerville has been training with Samora Smallwood at the Actor's WorkStudio since moving to Toronto. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting from the University of Windsor, as well as additional training at the MXAT (Russia), and the Theatre Royal Conservatoire (England).
