Tariq Khan is an Indian filmmaker, (Producer & actor) known for his acclaimed feature films like MANTOSTAAN, IDENTITY CARD, SIDE A & SIDE B and LIHAAF. Tariq Khan belongs to PeerPanjal Village Taranawali, Bufliaz of district Poonch at Jammu and Kashmir (India), His father Mr. Shadi Khan is a well known politician, his elder brother has Arif Khan is a contractor and his uncle Farooq Khan is an Urdu poet and he has been his inspiration to entry into the field of art and cinema. Tariq has his vision towards world cinema and to bring local stories of different regions for the world cinema audiences. Apart from being an Actor and producer Tariq Khan dedicated his time for social awareness activities as he also runs an NGO named STARCLUB SOCIAL WELFARE SOCIETY.
