Arne Lindtner Næss was born on 19 December 1944 in Norway. He is a writer and director, known for Venner for livet (2005), Karsten og Petra på vinterferie (2014) and S.O.S Svartskjær (2008).
Based on the true story of the effort to evacuate the entire Norwegian gold reserve out of Norway during the German invasion of Norway in World War II to keep the gold out of Germany's hands.
