Alp Akar was born on February 27, 2006 in Istanbul. Alp Akar, a secondary school student, had his first acting experience with the TV series Canim Ailem. He has acted in productions such as Genis Aile, Umutsuz Ev Kadinlari, Hayat Dedigin, Vicdan, Kertenkele, Cifte Saadet, Gulduy Gulduy Show and Vatanim Sensin respectively.

Our Story, or Bizim Hikaye in its original Turkish, is a Turkish drama set in Istanbul, Turkey featuring the Elibol family. The show is adapted from a UK based series called Shameless.
