James Joseph O'Neil

James Joseph O'Neil made his Off-Broadway and AEA debut in Galt McDermott's "The Hired Man" at the 47th St. Theatre. He appeared on Broadway in "Present Laughter" with Victor Garber and Brooks Ashmanskas and Off-Broadway with Peter Dinklage and Taylor Schilling in Erica Schmidt's production of "A Month in the Country" at Classic Stage Company, where he also played Cliff in Jo Bonney's production of "Look Back in Anger" with Reg Rogers and Enid Graham. Regional credits include The Old Globe Theatre, Mark Taper Forum, South Coast Repertory Theatre, Williamstown Theatre Festival, Baltimore Center Stage, American Repertory Theatre, Huntington Theatre Company, Ojai Playwrights Conference, Repertory Theatre of St. Louis, American Stage Festival, Alabama Shakespeare Festival, Pioneer Theatre Company and Long Wharf Theatre with Jack O'Brien, Darko Tresnjak, Anne Kaufman, Barry Edelstein, Kwame Kwei-Armah, Irene Lewis, Martin Benson, Benny Sato Ambush, Nicholas Martin and more. James trained at the Old Globe/USD (MFA) and Adelphi University (BFA)
