Johnny Acero
Johnny Acero is an actor and producer, known for Money or Bullets (2010), Burn Notice: The Fall of Sam Axe (2011) and Recon: A Filmmaker's Quest (2012) and for his extensive experience in working with the biggest theater names in the world.
Johnny was born on February 1st, 1972 in a small town named Fusagasuga, located in the Andes Mountains. He is the son of Alejandro Acero and Margie Gonzales, both educators and philanthropist. Johnny began to travel at a very early and became fluent in French, English and German. His first choice of profession was photography, but after attending a theater rehearsal in New York city looking to get some interesting portraits, he was bit by the acting bug and 4 years later he got his Bachelor's degree in Drama.
Johnny started working professionally as an actor at Théâtre des Champs Élysées in Paris, and then followed a successful career in theater. After a few years he went back to his native Colombia, and started acting for Television and Film. His first motion picture was Golpe de Estadio a co-production between Colombia, Italy and Spain. Johnny completed his MFA in Film and is preparing his Opera Prima.
