Local MLA Ayya has an opponent in the form of Karuppusamy, the son of a corrupt MLA who was killed by Ayya. Karuppusamy gains evidence for his father's murder and sends Ayya to jail.

Two feuding landlords struggle to destroy each other. When one of them loses his son, he vows to kill the son of his rival. The boy, however, manages to escape only to return 20 years later.
