Vijayendra Ghatge is a renowned actor. In 1988 BR Chopra's Mahabharata, he was offered the role of Bhishma but he was interested in playing the role of Karna. The makers also tried him for playing Krishna but he insisted on playing Karna in the show but didn't get the role. Hence he backed out from the show and bagged more and more films. Vijayendra Ghatge is known for Devdas (2002), Satte Pe Satta (1982) and Kasme Vaade (1978).
