Inspired by a true mining tragedy the film is about people from all walks of life showing courage and character to fight the forces of nature.

Mahendra Pratap marries Geeta, but asks Devilal, her first son, to leave the house. Later, Geeta gets arrested for murder due to her husband's false testimony and gives birth to another son in prison.

Rajat is happily married to Mukta until Sheetal, an upcoming model, destroys their relationship to achieve success. Rajat then launches his housemaid, Tulsi, as his advertising agency's new model.
