Maria Lundqvist
Annika Maria Lundqvist born in Gothenburg is the daughter of crafts teacher and accordion player Bert-Ove Lundqvist and teacher Gerd Born Wild Roth. She trained at the Gothenburg Theatre Academy 1983-1986. She has been engaged at Gothenburg City Theatre, Backa Theatre, Folkteatern in Gothenburg, the Stockholm City Theatre the Royal Dramatic Theatre in Stockholm and with 2Entertain and Vicky's Nöjesproduktion. Maria has, up till now, appeared in 41 feature films and television productions. Maria Lundqvist has been received a large number of prestigious awards. Among those, four Guldbagge prizes. Two for best actress in a leading role in "Den bästa av mödrar" and "Familjehemligheter" and two for best actress in supporting role in "Himlens hjärta" and "Sprängaren". In 2009 she was awarded the Hasse Ekman stipendiet and in 2010 the Povel Ramel Prize Karamelodiktstipendiet..
