Payel Mukherjee is a Bengali film actress and a young entrepreneur whose range of work boasts of films from Bollywood (Hindi films) to the South Indian film Industries (Telugu & Malayalam) to Dhallywood (The film industry of Bangladesh). She worked in a dozen of Bengali films; 'Michael', 'Dekh Kamon Lage', 'Agantuk', 'Debigarh e Garbar', 'phaans'. etc and web series like 'kalimpong krimes'. She made her Bollywood debut with the Hindi film 'Woh 3 Din' (2022) where her role was well received by the critics. Her upcoming Bollywood movies are Prakash Jha production present's 'Konman' and Dharmendra Boghel's directorial 'Pullu'. Her Debut Telugu film "Srirangapuram" (2022) has been appreciated critically and commercially both. She made her first appearance in Dhallywood with the action thriller movie Captain Khan (2018). Her next flick in Bangladesh was the 2021 comedy drama film 'Gondi' which received 3 national awards in Bangaladesh in 2022. She got the best actress award in Kerala short film festival for her debut Malayalam film 'Eva' (2021).
