She is fluent in Dutch, English, and Papiamento-a Portuguese & Spanish influenced Creole language. As a child, Nathalie fell in love with acting. When she was seven years old, she began exhibiting this passion by orchestrating minor productions at home. She would put on shows with her brother and friends for her family to enjoy. She went on to represent Aruba in The Miss World pageant in China, with notable celebrities such as Jackie Chan, Pierce Brosnan & Candace Bushnell-writer of Sex & the City-judging the contest. Although she did not win the Miss World competition, Nathalie continued to pursue her true passions: television and film. With the title of Miss Aruba, Nathalie took the opportunity to produce and host her own television show for teenagers, titled SBU, at the local Network- Tele Aruba. In addition to her own show, Nathalie hosted the daily, live lottery show at the ATV Network. In 2005, Nathalie relocated to The Netherlands, where she trained at the School of Dramatic Arts in Amsterdam. During her studies she found work as a TV host on the live game show Play 2 Win, produced by 3 Circles Media. She also worked as the lead player on the reality show Herken de Homo produced by Endemol. After graduating, Nathalie kept busy working on any number of educational theater projects that involved the youth of Holland. Since then Nathalie has been a cast member of Mimoda Jazzo Gruppa: a mime, movement, and dance company based in Los Angeles. The company practices "Jazzo Bodyculture", a movement-language set of techniques created by studio owner Jacob Yasha Michelson. Ms. Biermanns has also established the non-profit Teatro Aruba Foundation, whereby she produces programs specifically designed for the youth of Aruba. Her foundation aims to develop and inspire the creativity of young people by providing them with educational theater activities-which are drawn from students' lives and the community-and staging yearly performances that reflect both cultural and social themes.
