Mikayla Pacheco
Mikayla Rianna Pacheco is an American actress, singer, and percussionist.
Mikayla Pacheco was born on January 13th, 2001 in Terra Haute, Indiana, to parents Sari Hewlett- Pacheco and Dorian Pacheco. She has an older brother named Austin. When she was four years old, Mikayla and her family moved to Liverpool, Texas in August 2017. While attending Alvin Junior High she discovered her love for percussion. At the age of 16 she performed and was a member of the HYS Symphony and Philharmonic ( 2016-2017) with sold out recorded concerts each performance. Mikayla booked her first acting job for the film, From Nowhere To Everywhere through The Eyes of the Horse, directed by Joseph Piner of Cinefocus productions with Clarke Peters, Jean Renaud The Dutchess of York, Sarah Ferguson and many more. After making her debut it was clear she had a passion for the arts. She was cast in other films such as "Jar: Journey of a Horseman" Winner of 12 Film Festival Awards in various categories including Best Director and Best Producer, "Grenadine," "Free Spirits: Saving America's Wild Horses" and her most recent Caged Birds (Netflix Original) and 2:32a.m.
Mikayla was awarded the prestigious National Academy of Future Scientists and Technologist Award of Excellence 2016 and again 2017 for her outstanding grades, leadership potential and determination to serve humanity in the field of science and technology. It was presented to her by Noble Prize Recipient Dr. John C. Mather in Boston, Mass.
When she is not acting or performing, Mikayla enjoys spending time on the farm with the horses, her dogs Baby, Misty, and Swagger as well as spending time with her family and friends. Her favorite activities include swimming, reading, watching movies, and writing.
Mikayla was accepted at SMU University in Dallas where she plans to double major in Drama and Law at Harvard, whilst still pursuing acting, both on stage and off stage. With hard work and dedication, she hopes to become the first woman to hold a double EGOT, which refers to a person who holds one of each of the major artist awards Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony. She currently takes vocal lessons from Dr. Zachary Bruton in Clear Lake, Texas. She takes instruction from John Lansch in Texas and her acting coach in Hollywood is Joshua LeBar.
