Ava McAvoy
Ava McAvoy exemplifies the transformative power of beauty while maintaining a strong sense of self and individuality. Ava was immediately picked up by legendary designer, Azzedine Alaia, as his exclusive model following supermodels like Naomi Campbell, Stephanie Seymour and Linda Evangelista. Arriving to New York, Ava quickly became the fashion darling for designer Zac Posen, landing a position in first his show, then his lookbook and then his campaign. Ava's genuine passion for the process of fashion and then the art of photography led her to a position in the modeling industry that can only be properly described as a modern muse. Ava went on to shoot with the most influential photographers in the fashion world, including but not limited to, Bruce Weber, Inez and Vinoodh, Mert & Marcus, Txema Yeste, Sarah Moon and Steven Meisel for her debut in Italian Vogue. After her meteoric rise in the fashion industry and transforming her look numerous times, Ava then shaved her head on camera for a Givenchy campaign. It was at this point in her career, after shooting for Vogue Portugal multiple times, that Ava relocated to Los Angeles. After years of accolades in the modeling world and being constantly inspired by the art of storytelling, Ava decided to take her talents in front of the camera to new heights by focusing on the moving picture image. Ava has now been training with award-winning theatrical acting coach Craig Archibald to hone in on her craft.
