As Assistant Producer, Editor, and Writer he worked on dozens of music videos and shorts including the award winning, "Boy's Own Story", and "Short Film". He acted in several commercials and had a lead in a production of Mary of Scotland at the UNSW. His life took him to Florida where he worked with the Ocala Theatre and performed with a long running improv troupe. He also co-wrote another feature film entitled "Dreamhorse" about thoroughbred racing. Matthew then ran a theatre company in North Bay Ontario and produced several shows including "The Ends of the Earth" and "Death of a Salesman". In 2010 he moved back to Toronto where he founded the company Frolick.
