Cihang Ma (they/them) is a Chinese-Canadian actor best known for Departure (2022), Star Trek: Strange New Worlds (2023), and Hudson & Rex (2022). Cihang's performing journey began with intensive training in live improv and sketch comedy. After stand-out performances in the Second City Bob Curry Diversity Fellowship (2019) and their Second City Sketch Conservatory show, 'Carpe Into My DMs' (Winner of Best of the Fest at the Toronto Fringe 2019), they received the Tim Sims Encouragement Award (Second City, 2019). In 2020, they expanded their work into TV/film, animation voice-over, and independent film. Cihang is also a classically trained violinist.
