John Erwin

John Erwin is an American actor from Cambridge, Massachusetts. He is primarily known for voice roles in animation. He voiced the arrogant and selfish adolescent Reggie Mantle in the animated series "The Archie Show" (1968-1969). He returned to the role in a number of the series' spin-offs until 1977. He voiced the primary hero Prince Adam/He-Man and the secondary villain Beast Man in "He-Man and the Masters of the Universe" (1983-1985). He also voiced several of the series' minor characters. He returned to the role of He-Man for guest appearances in the spin-off series "She-Ra: Princess of Power" (1985-1987). Since the late 1980s, Erwin's roles have been limited to voicing unseen announcers in live-action projects. He briefly emerged from retirement in 2005, in order to voice a He-Man cameo appearance in the animated sitcom "Family Guy". In 2019, it was mentioned in an interview that Erwin was living in a retirement community, located in Thousand Oaks, California. His subsequent activities are unknown.
